CAIDI INITIATIVE
ALLEY OF ICONS
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Ally of Icons program aims to update the 57 classical Greek and Roman statues lining the CAIDI Institute's pathways with
3D-sculpted statues of modern-day and contemporary innovators from diverse backgrounds. This initiative seeks to update the Institute's landscape with representations of inclusivity and diversity, while simultaneously raising funds for its various initiatives.

OBJECTIVES
Updating the existing classical statues with 3D-sculpted statues of diverse innovators, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the Institute's visual landscape.
Generate significant fundraising revenue through sponsorships for each statue, supporting the CAIDI Institute's ongoing programs and initiatives.
Showcase the Institute's commitment to innovation and technological advancements through the use of
3D-sculpting technology.

IMPLEMENTATION
-
Artist Selection: CAIDI will select a diverse group of artists, including sculptors and 3D designers, to create digital representations of the chosen innovators.
-
3D Sculpting: Using OR-OS© software, the artists will create 3D models of their respective innovator sculptures. This software will then be used to generate precise instructions for the robotic sculptor Robotor.
-
Robotic Sculpting: Robotor will autonomously sculpt each physical statue from high-quality stone materials, ensuring accuracy and exquisite detail.
-
Sponsorship Program: Each statue will be associated with a specific sponsorship opportunity. Sponsors will receive recognition on display boards accompanying the statues and other benefits.
-
Fundraising Events: CAIDI will organize fundraising events and activities centered around the Ally of Icons program, further generating revenue and promoting the initiative.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
The Ally of Icons program injects $2 million annually into CAIDI's mission through statue sponsorships at $1 million each. In addition, smaller replicas of each statue will be auctioned off at events twice per year providing even more financial support to the mission.
The program will create a more inclusive and diverse visual environment at the Institute, reflecting the values of inclusivity and diversity that CAIDI promotes.
The use of 3D-sculpting technology will showcase CAIDI's commitment to innovation and technological advancements.
THE IMPACT
The "Allies of Icons" program will have a significant impact on the CAIDI Institute and the wider community. It will:
Promote diversity and inclusion: By updating classical statues with representations of diverse icons, we will create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and students.
Inspire future generations: The program will showcase the contributions of diverse individuals to a variety of fields, inspiring young people to pursue their own dreams and ambitions.
Support the CAIDI Institute: The program will generate vital funding to support the CAIDI Institute's ongoing mission to promote diversity and inclusion in technology and art.
