Driven by Ethics

It is our goal that strong Ethical Perspectives guide all companies that are spawned from CAIDI for the entire lifetime of each individual company. As part of this driving force, the following steps will be fully funded by CAIDI and part of the CAIDI process.

  • The CAIDI fellow selection process includes filtering for deep personal values of social and environmental good.

  • Each fellow must participate in an Ethical Leadership program during their 6 months stay at CAIDI.

  • CAIDI will source potential Ethical Executives that will be ready to interview/join each company as soon as it is funded. This will create an Ethical Executive Leadership team from inception.

  • CAIDI will source potential Ethical Board Members that will be ready to interview/join each company as soon as it is funded. This will create an Ethical Board of Directors to assist in guiding both business ethics and success.

  • CAIDI will source potential Ethical Advisory Board Members that will be ready to interview/join each company as soon as it is funded. This will create an Ethical Board of Advisors to assist in guiding both business ethics and success.

  • CAIDI will set up each company as a Benefits Corporation with B-Lab Pending status. This will ensure the environmental and social governance aspect of the company from inception. CAIDI will fund the initial guidance from a B-Lab consultant for each company.

  • Fellows, Executives, Directors and Advisors will all be vetted for Strong Ethics and meet the CAIDI standard.
